2012年由Rachel McAdams 和Channing Tatum主演的電影The Vow，兩位主角的魅力和化學作用令人忘記失憶橋段的老套，當中婚禮誓詞的情真意切，更可說是模範作：
Paige: I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness
and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed
and to share the silence when they are not,
to agree to disagree on red velvet cake,
and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.
Leo: I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever.

香港法例下，誓詞必須包含以下宣言：
"我請在座各位見證，我(新郎姓名)願意以妳 (新娘姓名) 為我合法妻子。"
"我請在座各位見證，我(新娘姓名)願意以你 (新郎姓名) 為我合法丈夫。"
除此之外，其他部份可以自創。"新人們藉此機會將最心底的感受和愛意寫成個人化誓詞，在眾人前宣讀，定會是婚禮中最難忘的時刻。
